da winzada777: Leeds will be without Patrick Bamford for the busy Christmas period, so Marcelo Bielsa should look to sign feisty Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos in January.

What’s the word?
According to reports, Bamford will miss four months with the knee injury he suffered during an under-23 clash last week.
The former Middlesbrough man has had to settle for a place on the bench since his move, thanks to the remarkable form of Kemar Roofe, has scored once for his new club.
Bielsa did not look to bring in lots of depth in the summer, instead choosing to focus on a core of about 18 players who he could trust throughout the season, but this strategy could prove fatal if they suffer any more injuries.
The charismatic Leeds boss demands a huge amount of work from his front men, so he should use this injury as a sign to go out and grab Morelos in January.

Would he be a good signing?
If the timeline reported for Bamford’s injury is correct, then the 25 year-old should return to action in the new year, but that shouldn’t stop Bielsa from pursuing another striker.
Morelos would be the perfect fit for Bielsa and Leeds, as he has the work rate to play the Argentinian’s style, the pace to devastate Championship defences on the counter attack, and the killer edge that fans at Elland Road will simply love.
The 22 year-old splits opinion amongst Rangers fans due to his lack of discipline, picking up two red cards already this season, including one in a crucial Europa League clash.
However, he has scored 15 goals in 39 Premiership appearances for the Gers, after scoring 27 times in 42 league games for Finnish side HJK between 2016 and 2017. Basically, the feisty youngster just knows how to score goals, and has even received backing from Colombian legend Radamel Falcao to become the next great Colombian striker.
Morelos knows how to run the channels, will press opposition defenders relentlessly, and will offer something a little different to Roofe and Bamford with his tenacity and agility.
If anyone can calm the youngster down without extinguishing too much of the fire that makes him so lethal in front of goal, it’s Bielsa. Gerrard hasn’t managed to do it, but Bielsa has far more experience, and could mould the 22 year-old into the perfect striker.
