The pair swapped thoughts on everything from least favourite Thanksgiving food — Weah, controversially, is not a fan of turkey — to what they miss about home in a 'Thanksgiving in Turin' video. Undoubtedly the most tender moment came when Weah revealed how thankful he is to have McKennie as a team-mate. "We share a lot of time on the field. Yeah, I love him. One day he's going to have children and I'm going to have children and hopefully they can be friends, too."

McKennie and Weah have played 26 times together for the USMNT and have began racking up minutes together at club level since McKennie's return and Weah's transfer to Juventus. Both will hope to continue playing their part in the Italian giant's resurgence.
