da betsson: Mohamed Salah has told Goal that Liverpool do not need to bring in any more players before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
What’s the word?
da dobrowin: The Merseyside outfit have had a successful summer window, recruiting four new players.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has addressed some areas that needed strengthening by signing midfielders Naby Keita and Fabinho.
Xherdan Shaqiri has also joined the squad to add competition in attack, while Alisson became the world’s most expensive goalkeeper when he signed from Roma.
Salah, who has one league title to his name following his time at Basel, believes that Liverpool do not need to land anyone else before the window shuts in two days’ time.
The Egyptian international told Goal when asked if the Reds should do more business:
“No one, really. I am very happy with the squad we have and feel very comfortable.”
Is Salah right?
If Klopp has finalised his spending, then it would be no disappointment to the fans.
The main issue was in the goalkeeping department, but with that sorted, there are no pressing matters.
However, the arrival of Alisson has perhaps masked over the fact that Liverpool could benefit from a new centre-back.

Virgil van Dijk has certainly improved the defence, and his confidence has spread through the back line, but there are still doubts over his partner.
At the moment, Dejan Lovren sits alongside Van Dijk in the lineup, but he is prone to making reckless decisions.
Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan are not much better options, so perhaps Klopp should have put a new centre-back on his transfer wishlist.
